Description

Our Client is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience increasing store foot flow and creating visual displays.

  • Lead efforts to increase sales through targeted marketing strategies.
  • Showcase experience in boosting store visits through marketing.
  • Demonstrate how marketing assists sales advisors in increasing sales and earning commissions in a target-driven environment.
  • Provide examples, data, and KPIs on how marketing initiatives have been measured for increased sales.
  • Apply various marketing tools to drive sales in different regions of Ireland, understanding local preferences and effective strategies.
  • Create and implement marketing campaigns tailored to individual store locations, considering demographics, competition, and seasonal trends.
  • Design, produce, and distribute effective point-of-sale displays, signage, and promotional materials, collaborating with the merchandising team.
  • Establish relationships with complementary businesses, community organizations, and local media to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Utilize channels like print advertising, radio, and direct mail to reach target audiences.
  • Work closely with store managers, staff, area managers, and merchandisers to align marketing efforts with store operations and sales goals. Conduct regular store visits to assess needs, gather feedback, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Track key metrics such as foot traffic, sales conversions, and ROI to evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Regularly research and analyze competitor marketing activities, including pricing, promotions, advertising, and in-store strategies. Identify opportunities to differentiate the brand and gain a competitive edge, including regular competitor store visits.
  • Develop and manage the local marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Stay updated on retail marketing best practices and emerging trends to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Mentor and train team members, driving personal and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven track record of increasing sales through marketing initiatives in a multi-store retail environment.
  • Experience in retail marketing, focusing on driving foot traffic and sales.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant marketing software.
  • Experience in managing budgets.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to extract actionable insights from sales and marketing data.
  • Exceptional people skills.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is desirable.
