SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Specialist collaborates closely with the Sales team to assist both current and potential customers in selecting and designing filter systems and single-use process solutions for applications in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and industrial sectors.
Remote Role. Candidates must be based in Europe.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
- Manage the full sales cycle for existing customers and qualified leads, from initial engagement to finalizing the sale, including order receipt.
- Build and maintain strong, positive, and productive relationships with customer accounts, including product users, management, and purchasing teams.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities by researching and targeting potential accounts, nurturing new relationships, and providing technical information and guidance.
- Prioritize sales opportunities to ensure short- and long-term growth.
- Respond to customer inquiries, providing technical information and support materials as needed.
- Generate quotes and pricing information for customers, ensuring tailored proposals.
- Coordinate with sales teams, customer service, and clients on matters related to products, pricing, orders, and deliveries.
- Lead customers to appropriate product solutions, collaborating with internal teams to resolve any questions or concerns.
- Prepare necessary documents, presentations, and proposals to support sales efforts.
- Identify new sales prospects through lead generation and raising awareness of our products and services.
- Monitor competitors by analysing and summarizing their information and market trends.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or Chemistry from an accredited four-year institution, with relevant work experience and/or sales expertise.
- Dynamic, personable, self-motivated, and possessing a strong work ethic. Close attention to detail and follow-through is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write speeches and articles for publication and present effectively to top management, public groups, and boards of directors.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM programs.
- Experience within a Pharma background mandatory
- Fluent in German and English
- Experience with single use filtration
